Check out our room and buggy great work!

If you didn't get to come to Open House, you can take a peek at what we do during the day. Each morning, the students look forward to Math Meeting. We keep our Math skills reviewed and sharp everyday. They also enjoy doing centers while I work in small groups.

We recently read in our books a story abour ants. I am so proud of the work the studetns did during that unit of study. Check out our Ant Life Cycles and setting pop up cards.

Wow, what a great week!

Our week started off on Monday with the celebration of our Grandparents at breakfast. Thanks so much to all of you grandparents that came. We love our Grandparents!!

On Tuesday, we had an awesome visit from Mr. Al West, Officer Isenburg and Gilly the K-9 dog. This goes along great with our story this week, Tara and Tiree, Fearless Friends. The officers told us how Gilly uses her nose to help them find lost people and track things. The kids really loved Gilly. Unfortunatly, the batteries on my camera went dead, so I will have to get some pics from another class. I'll have them soon.

On Friday, Mr. Martin, a 5th grade teacher is going to share with our class how pizza is made. This presentation will be done by using the crops grown in the Wiseman garden. We can't wait! Thanks Mr. Martin for all the work you do for our school! ( I will have pictures!)

A Walk in the Desert

We finished up a week of learning about the desert with a tasting of Prickly Pear Fruit candy from the deserts of Arizona. It was definitely something new for all of us. I looked last week for Prickly Pear juice from FUZE and couldn't find it, but I found it this weekend and we will be tasting it this week. The kids are excited about that!!
